《演讲稿-Self-confidence》
There are many factors that can contribute to a person’s success in life. Whether he is at school or at work, a person is more likely to succeed if he is hard-working, honest, intelligent, responsible, and so on. But of all the possible characteristics that can affect one’s success, I believe self-confidence to be the most important for the following reasons.
The first reason is that when a person has self-confidence he believes in himself. He believes that he can and will succeed, and this gives him the courage to try new things. In order to be successful we must be willing to take some risks, so having self-confidence is very important. Another reason is that a confident person rarely gives up. When he fails he tries again and again until he wins. A final reason is that confident people are not afraid to show off their achievements. This is not to say that they should brag, but that they should gracefully and confidently accept the compliments of others. When their achievements are noticed more by others at school or work, they are more likely to succeed.
In short, I believe self-confidence to be the most important factor in success. It enables people to take risks, try again when they fail, and enjoy their accomplishments when they win. With these abilities, a confident person can succeed easily at school or work.
Self-confidence
Self-confidence means trust in one's own ability. As a very important psychological quality, it brings your creative power to play, arouses you enthusiasm for work and helps you overcome difficulties. When asked of the secret of her success, Marie Curie answered, “My success lies in perseverance and self-confidence, the latter in particular.”
Self-confidence gives you light when you are in dark and encouragement when you are dismayed. It is self-confidence that inspires you to cope with any arduous task. With self-confidence, the goal you intend can be reached, and so can the hard nut be cracked.
Some people find most of the things impossible, saying, “It is beyond my ability to do the task.” or “I am not cut out for it.” In many cases, these are only lame excuses. When our heart is void of self-confidence, every hope is gone, and everything we are laying our hands on is spoilt.
Be honest with yourself about your strengths and weakness and manage accordingly.

Confidence starts in the mind.What you think of yourself very much influences the way you feel about yourself. This, in turn, affects the way you speak and act.
No one can make you feel inferior without your consent. The very first thing you have to do to create abundant
self-confidence is to start thinking ourselves with confidence. Pay attention to your internal dialogue, and learn to notice when you allow negativity or doubt to control the course of your thinking.
Your environment has a tremendous influence on you. The books you read, the people you spend time with, and the music you listen to all influence the way you think and feel about yourself and the world around you.
In a nutshell, your environment can either build up your self-confidence or drag it down.
If you're in a situation where you're discouraged, such as an unhealthy relationship or a miserable job, you have to change that situation if you want your self-confidence level to grow.
Create an environment that supports you if your desire to have abundant self-confidence. Spend time with confident people.
Remember those, self-confidence can be yours. Take it!

如果你现在所处的环境让你备受打击，比如说有一段不健康的关系或者一份痛苦的工作，如果你想提高自信的话，你就要改变你现在的处境。
如果你渴望充满自信，就创造一个支持你的环境，与自信的人多待在一起。 记住这些，自信就属于你。抓住它!

促成一个人成功的因素有很多。不论是念书或工作，如果可以努力、诚实、聪明、负责任等，就比较有可能成功。但在所有可能影响成功与否的特点中，基于下列理由，我认为自信最重要。
第一个理由就是，当一个人有自信的时候，就会相信自己的能力。他会相信自己可以而且一定会成功，这一点让他有勇气尝试新事物。想要成功，我们必须愿意冒险，所以有自信是很重要的。另一个理由是，有信心的人很少放弃，即使失败了，还是会不断尝试，直到成功。最后一个理由是，有信心的人不怕炫耀自己的成就，这并不表示他们应该自夸，而是应该优雅、有信心地接受别人的赞美。当他们在学业或工作上的成就更受人注目时，成功的可能性就更高了。
简言之，我认为自信是成功最重要的因素。自信使人勇于冒险，失败了会再接再厉，成功时能享受自己的成就。有了这些能力，有信心的人就能够轻易地在学业或工作上获得成功。

Confidence Every day is a new day in our life. There is much to do today.The early morning sun inspires us to start things freshly and put back our past. Only a handful of us make use of this fresh bunch of energy. In various walis of life this affects the way we behave and our confidence level. Confidence is a key to survive in this world. It is the only key tool to win the rat race in every walk of life. Confidence in ones owns capabilities combined with sincere efforts help one to achieve unthinkable heights. But many times we see that this basic element of confidence is missing in us. As a result of lack of confidence we perform well below our caliber.Be it in a public speech, proposing your beloved, visas for your college or in an interview or say even on the eve before your exams. This can be due to fear of being rejected or any other reason. If we look into our hearts and think, we will come to know that fear inside us I going to get us nowhere. So we have to get out of that shell where we think whether people will accept us as we are? Instead of living in these unending moments of fear and thoughtless analysis, it is better if we project ourselves with the skills we have with the gloss of
confidence. With confidence we can portray the finer points of our personality in such a way that the places where we do lack are never highlighted. Confidence should glow in us only till the point where our personality is boosted. Above this it leads to over-confidence that is harmful. Over-confidence results in unsatisfied performance levels as the seed of ego grows into a plant into our mind. We then imagine and make big talks just to maintain our ego. So guys don’t let the seed of ego to germinate in your mind, as this seed should be used only for you to live up to your expectations. Confidence is all about being cool, calm and composed. So guys do you have it in you?If you think you don't,boost up yourselves as your mind is your greatest mentor. You are your greatest helper.

Kiss of Reality To talk of illusions, are't they great? illusion or day dreaming help us to think of what we want to become in life. We literally see how life revolves us in that position . It's an entirely different world of pleasure, comfort and imagination. Most of our day dreaming or illusions make us more and more egocentric. The word ego means self . Hence by dreaming and visualization we become self-centered. We never realize that things we dream of can be achieved by us by programming ourselves to work for it . Ladies and gentleman, It’s really a great honor for me to stand here to share the view about this speech. The title of my speech today is confidence makes change.
At the beginning of my speech, I would like to share a true story about me.
As a newcomer, when I step into CNPC a new chapter in my life opened. New people, new environment, new relationship, I do not know what I will face with, everything is unknown..
When you exposure to a new place, will you feel nervous? My answer is sure. The first day I seat into the chair in front of a computer, I have not well prepared for this new role in my life. Just feeling a normal student I still was, complicated mood made me painfully and lonely .
However, life is formed by various of decisions. So does my life. The second day, before I coming to the office, I said to me in the mirror: believing yourself, you can make the change. Looking at me in the mirror, I felt that I was full of confidence and passion. Nothing is impossible! I can do it ! what I just need was confidence!
With such a feeling, something seemed difficult, had become simple in that morning. I know the positive attitude works. Sometimes it seems so funny. when you are afraid of it, it just like a huge mountain locating in your front, but once you make the first step with courage, you will find that no matter how difficult it was but this.
I have been here for 3 weeks, during this process, I felt the harmony relationship and the love from CPOE, this big family, the man who has a negative attitude can not feel such a atmosphere of unity. Here ,I just want to say, whatever you do, whenever you do, confidence is essential in your life. Confidence, the same as the success.
25days, I can learn more about our company, unlimited happiness and dynamics promote CNPC move forward forever. I am confident that CNPC will step into a world-class integrated international energy company. I can feel the confidence of everyone, and you ?

在演讲开始之前，我想和大家分享一个关于我自己的真实的故事。
作为一个新人，当我踏进中石油的那一刻，我的生命中掀开了新的篇章。新人，新环境，新关系，我不知道我将来会面对什么，一切都是未知的. 当你置身到一个新地方，你会感到紧张吗？ 我的回答是肯定的。第一天，当我坐在电脑前面的椅子里，面对我生命中的新角色，我还没有准备好。只是感觉我仍然是一个普通的学生，复杂的情绪使我感到痛苦和孤独。
然而，生活是由许多的决定组成。我的生活也是如此。第二天，在我来到办公室之前，我对镜子中的自己说：相信自己，你会成功。望着镜子中满是坚毅的眼神，我感到充满自信和激情。没有什么是不可能的！我能行！我只需要带着自信！ 有了这样一种感觉，好像什么困难，在这天早上变得简单了。我知道积极态度起作用了。有时事情看起来很有趣。当你害怕它时，它就像一个巨大的山树立在你前面，当你鼓起勇迈出第一步，你会发现，无论多么困难，也不过如此。 我在这里已有3周，在这个过程中，我感觉到和谐关系和来自海洋公司对新员工的爱，这个大家庭里，谁拥有消极态度，无法感受到这种团结的气氛。在这里，我只想说，不管你做什么，只要你做的，信心是你生活中必不可少的。信心，就是成功。

每次我走上讲台的时候，很多同学和老师都会觉得吃惊。他们说疯狂英语的这个讲师怎么这么年轻啊！今天我想告诉大家。我今年26岁，今天我站在这个讲台上要代表的是一种激情与力量。年轻就意味无限的潜能。如果今天站在这里的是62岁的我，那代表的就是一种智慧与经验。我始终相信这样一句话：“有实力，就有魅力”。无论你长的高还是长得低，无论你长的丑还是漂亮，无论你是年长还是年轻，无论你是家徒四壁还是金玉满堂。只要你有实力就一定会有魅力。同不同意？
刚才我已经感受了同学们鼓掌的热情，现在我想感受一下你们说英语的热情。所有的同学是不是都拿到了这张英语演讲报？好，所有的同学将这张报纸举高一边挥动一边用英语从一数到十。举高！高一在哪？高二？高三？今天当着校长和这么多老师的面，我想做个调查。在学习英语的道路上讨厌背单词的请举手，讨厌学语法的举另外一只手。讨厌考试的举两只手。啊！都讨厌啊，这叫我们可怜的英语老师怎么上课啊？干脆我们向教育部申请取消历年的英语中高考好不好？还好啊！
今天我要给大家讲的第一个主题就是： 英语的学习在咱们中国学生的身上到底是怎么了？一定要让你们好好端正对英语的学习态度。有句名言叫做：“Attidute is everything .”态度决定一切”。那么在讲这个主题之前呢，我想给大家说件几年前发生在大学校园的事，相信大家也一定深有感触。那时我们班的一个同学在操场上散步对面一个外教走了过来，手里拿着厚厚的一摞书。突然外教一不小心把一摞书掉在了地上。我们班的这个同学就赶忙走过去帮忙把书捡了起来。这时那个外教好心的说了一声：“Thank you.”而我们班的那位同学一紧张，脱口而出：very much.”后来是这位同学把这件事讲给我们听。我们都指着他的鼻子说：“你呀，真给中国人丢脸！”我那同学回答说；“你不知道，当我和外国人一讲话，我的脑袋就一片空白，舌头都打结。我也不知道怎么就说了句：very much !” 同学们，这不仅仅只是一个笑话，而是当代许多大学生英语能力和英语学习现状悲惨处境的真实缩写。想要上大学的同学举手，大学生就是你们下场。其实并不很难的一门语言，把我们从小折腾到大，耗费了我们大量宝贵的时间和精力。从小学苦学到大学，学了十几年甚至几十年，还是“聋子”和“哑巴”一个！四六级的证书如同废纸一张。很显然我们这么多年学习英语的方法一定有问题，那么到底要如何来学习英语呢？这就是我今天来这里的目的：“说一口漂亮英语的同时顺便考高分！”
我想先问大家一个问题，听说过“八荣八耻”的同学请举手。学校的团委工作做得不错。下个问题，有多少个同学能够背出来的举手？如果有谁能背下来，我请他上来背。而且我会送书给你啊！算了，算了。大家跟我一起来背：“以热爱祖国为荣，以危害祖国为耻”。“以服务人民为荣，以背离人民为耻。”以崇尚科学为荣，以愚昧无知为耻。”以辛勤劳动为荣，以好逸恶劳为耻。”同学们记下今天的第一条笔记；学英语的最终目的就是要脱口而出，否则白学。我不希望同学说“老师，我看过，老师，我听过，但我就是不会说。今天我要说一句狂妄的话：“看懂是骗人的，听懂是不够的，只有说出来才是咱自己的。”我们要清醒的认识到，英语不再是在象牙塔里玩弄的科目，而是中华民族开启与国外交流大门的KEY。是我们把中国五千年文化弘扬给全世界的工具,让中国的产品能更快更好地走向世界.能让中国更快更好地吸收国外先进科学技术和管理经验.另外,随着祖国改革开放的不断深入和中国加入世贸组织.各行各业都大量需要能讲一口流利英语的人才.在珠江三角洲和长江三角洲等发达城市,大学生毕业参加工作后,英语能力强的同学平均月薪都在3000—8000元之间,而不具备基本英语能力的同学找工作都困难!英语成为许多学生学业有成,事业成功的绊脚石!什么叫爱国？作为一名二十一世纪的中学生,今天能够在学校里面全力以赴的学好英文，学好各门功课。将来走向社会做一个对社会有用的人,而不要成为社会的负担,这就是实实在在的爱国.
英语有什么了不起嘛,不就是26个破字母组成的语言,长得和汉语拼音一模一样,发音也和汉语拼音差不多.我们中华民族将是第一个全面掌握两门国际语言的民族. 而且，现在许多国家都掀起了学习汉语的热潮在美国有这样一副漫画；美国自由女神象手中举着一个牌子，上面写着；“学好中文，走遍天下。”我们只有在学好英语的同时才能向全世界更好的传播汉语。21世纪是我们中国人用汉语折磨外国人的世纪！ 我看见外国人都这么说。阁下，请问你会讲中文吗？外国人一般都是睁大眼睛：WHAT? 因为可怜你不会说中文，我才跟你所有英文：“How long have you been in China ?----One year ----Can you speak Chinese ? ----一点点 听，来中国都一年了，给你出道中文听力-------小王和小张正在谈论李阳，这时候，李阳破门而入。请问“门破了吗?” 小王说：“看，说曹操曹操就到。”请问“谁到了？” 所以我就说了，英语没什么了不起，汉语才是世界上真正的第一大语言。只要你能说中文，就一定能说英文。为自己，为父母，为国家一定要早日拿下英语。好不好？有没有信心。。。。confidence

你的工作将会占据你生命的大部分，相信你做的工作是对的，你才能发自内心得到满足。而只有爱你所有的事，才能成就不凡。如果你还没找到，那继续找，别安逸下来。有勇气顺从自己的内心和直觉，你的内心早就知道你未来的梦想。

我觉得坚持对每个人都重要，不要放弃，不要妥协，每件事都有方法。 You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something: your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. Because believing that the dots will connect down the road, will give you the confidence to follow your heart, even when it lead you off the well worn path. And that will make all the difference.
Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma, which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. You’ve got to find what you love. And that is as true for your work as it is for your lovers. Your work is going to fill a large part of your life and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking, and don’t settle. Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition, they somehow already know what you truly want to become.
You’re going to have some ups and you’re goning to have some downs. Most people give up on themselves easily. You know the human spirit is powerful?! There is nothing as powerful. It’s hard to kill the human spirit! Anybody can feel good when they have their health, their bills are paid, they have happy relationships. Anybody can be positive then, anybody can have a larger vision then, anybody can have faith under those kinds of circumstances. The real challenge of growth, mentally, emotionally and spiritually comes when you get knocked down. It takes courage to act. Part of being hungry when you been defeated. It takes courage to start over again. Fear kills dreams. Fear kills hope. Fear, put people in the hospital. Fear can age you, can hold you back from doing something that you know within yourself that you are capable of doing, but it will paralyze you. At the end of your feelings is nothing, but at the end of every principle is a promise. Behind your little feelings, it might not be absolutely not at the end of your little feelings. But behind every principle is a promise. And some of you in your life, the reason why you not at your goal right now, because of your just all about you feelings. All on your feelings, you don’t feel like waking up, so who does? Everyday you say “no” to your dreams, you might be pushing your dreams back a whole six months, a whole year! That one single day, that one day you didn’t get up could have pushed your stuff back, I don’t know how long.
Don’t allow your emotions to control you. We are emotional, but what you want to begin to discipline your emotion. If you don’t discipline and contain your emotion, they will use you. You want it, and you are going to go all out to have it. It’s not going to be easy, when you want to change. It’s not easy. If it were in fact easy, everybody would do it. But if you’re serious, you’ll go all out.

1. My Dream

2. What Is Happiness
What is happiness? Perhaps different people have different views on happiness.
Some people think that material satisfaction would bring happiness. But in fact they have overlooked the fact that true happiness comes from the realization of what you have done in your part in advancement of other people’s life as well as your own. Some people try every means to make money at the expense of others interests. These people harm others to benefit themselves. They think the great sum of money they make, the happier they will be. For example, when we learn English, we have to learn grammar, words, expressions and so on. The most important thing may be how to put what we have learned into practice. If you only learn the grammar rules by heart and don’t do enough exercises, it is certain that you can’t understand them perfectly. But if you practice a lot, maybe you will understand them more deeply and you can find some good methods of applying them.
