Step I Lead-in

Draw two pictures on the Bb, in the first picture a boy is getting up late, and in the second picture the boy didn’t catch the early bus. Then talk about the pictures with Ss and write down the sentence “If you get up late, you will not catch the early bus.” on the Bb.

T: Hello, everyone, I know most of you come to school on time, it’s a good habit. Now I want to know how you always come to school?

S: By bus.

S: By bike.

S: On foot.

T: Yes. We come to school in different ways according to the distance. OK. Here are two pictures for you. Please look carefully, then guess what happened to the boy? S: He got up late.

S: He didn’t catch the early bus.

T: So if you get up late, you will not catch the early bus. Repeat after me.

Ss: If you get up late, you will not catch the early bus.

T: The structure “if ... will ...” is an important structure. We will learn more about it later today.

Step II Presentation (1a, 1b, P34)

In this step, students will do some matching and listening practice with the target language.

T: Look at the picture on page 34. Some people are talking about going to party. What are they talking about? Make a guess. Then read the four statements in activity 1a. Who’d like to read the statements?

Ask some students to read the statements.

T: Good. What does “jeans” mean in the second statement? Look, I am wearing jeans. Xiao Zhang is wearing jeans too. Read after me, jeans.

T: Now can you match the statements with responses according to the pictures?

考点一:if 引导的条件状语从句

if 引导的条件状语从句。If是连词,所连接的句子 叫条件状语 从句,表示假设或条件,意思是 “ 如果…的话”,用法如下:

1、表示假设,表示将会发生和可能发生的事,或进行提醒警告。

用法:

(1)条件状语从句通常由连词if引导,意为“如果、假如”,主句不能用be going to表示将来,而应该用shall,will。 如: If you go to the party, you will meet Uncle Zhang.

(2)if “如果”,引导条件状语从句,主句用一般将来时,从句则用一般现在时。如:

If it rains tomorrow, we won‟t go there. 如果明天下雨,我们就不去那了。

考点二:be doing, be going to do和will 在表示将来时的区别
