3.知足:知足常乐,比上不足,比下有余。养生莫若寡欲,寡欲莫若无我。太上养神,其次养形,形神俱养,不仙也寿。养生以寡欲为本,心中无事即长生。自静其心延寿命,无求于物长精神。口中言少,心头事少,肚里食少,脑中欲少,体内渣少,有此五少,神仙可了。天下本无事,庸人自扰之。我有一言君记取,世间自取苦人多。人想到死去一物无有,万念自然撇脱。

4.清闲:无病休嫌瘦,身安莫怨贫。粗衣淡饭随缘过,一日清闲一日仙。举世皆从忙里老,几人肯向死前休。人生在世,竟忙了一生,闹了一生,苦恼了一生,干弄了一生,又空过了一生,临了落得些甚么,殊觉可笑。

5.好德:仁者寿,生理实也,默者寿,元气实也,拙者寿,元气固也。宗教以解脱为教义,以因果为权威,去小我之见,而进入大我之境。吃亏是福,忍让为智。事事培元气,其人必寿,念念存良心,其后必昌。明德之后,必有达人。善恶到头终有根,只争来早与来迟。

积善之家,必有余庆,积恶之家,必有余殃。

6.节房事:精者身之本也,众人重利,廉士重名,贤士尚志,圣人贵精。上士异床,中士异被,服药百裹,不如独卧。树有根即荣,根绝则枯,;人有精则活,保之则寿,损之则夭。酒是烧身硝焰,色为刮骨钢刀。人之好色谓之可乐也,不知可乐者在一时,可哭者在一世。谨游于房,积精为宝。天有三宝日月星,地有三宝水火风,人有三宝精气神。伤生之事非一,而好色者必早死。过了夏至节,夫妻各自歇。若要身体好,结婚莫要早。想活九十九,山妻长得丑。若要不老,还精补脑。王孙莫作多情客,自古多情损少年。

三、运动养生

1.动以养形:饭后百步走,活到九十九。生命在于运动,运动抗衰延年。百练不如一去,百走不如一抖。一日抖三抖,活到九十九。运动能代替药物,而所有药物却不能代替运动。运动一小时,增寿六十分,常动常寿,懒动常病。适度运动是健康之母。活动好比灵芝草,何必苦把仙方找。拍打足三里,胜吃老母鸡。裤带越长,寿命越短。人怕不动,脚怕不用。饭后散步,不进药铺。

2.静以养神:心安茅屋稳,性定茶根香。吾人不必别求福,但要保养元气,身体长康,清静斋中焚一炉香,读数行书,以圣贤为师,以龟鸟为友,便是世上活神仙。仙家道人非有灵,积精养气以成真。心静者寿长,神躁者夭亡。静极生动哲理精,真气须从虚无生,知见愈多思愈乱,内心常转无字经。致虚极、守静笃。天地间真滋味,唯静者能尝得出,人世间真机括,唯静者能参得透。
