On the one hand, the radiation of phones does harm to our eyes much. And on the other hand, the suddenly sound of phones may cause both of embarrassment and disturbance. (Introduction)As we step into 21st century, many gadgets, such as personal computer, MP3 and mobile phone, were introduced into our lives. There are a considerable number of discussions over them. One of the questions under debate is the pros and cons of Mobile phone. It is wildly acknowledged that mobile phone has become an indispensable part of our daily life in such an information age, which makes our communication more efficient and convenient.
(Body)Recent surveys show that mobile phones are prevailing at an accelerating speed. 80% Chinese possess mobile pones. With mobile phone, our world becomes increasingly smaller. Mobile phone, to a certain extent, lent us a pair of wings to enjoy a bigger space and freedom. We can join an important conference through mobile not having to fly half a globe to attend personally. We can send our greeting and wishes to our friends through Short Message Service. We do not have to bother ourselves with the long queue for a public phone, with a mobile phone we could comfortably call whomever we want at any time at any place. Moreover, a call may bridge over trouble water and save us in an emergent situation, which embodies perfectly in the 2004 Hollywood thriller movie Cellular. The advanced mobile phone serves us with the multifunction of MP3 , mini PC, which undoubtedly becomes a good entertainment. Although people’s lives have been dramatically changed over the last decades by cell phone, it must be admitted that, it also brought us many problems. The rings of mobile phones, the answering of phone in public place consist in one the sources of noise pollution. The abuse of cell phone, such as harassing call, dirty short messages, etc. may ruin your good appetite for a whole day. Still, people in growing numbers are beginning to complain about the Mobile Phone Syndromes like the aching of fingers for sending SMS over the top; the sick feeling of loss and worry if they live without a mobile phone and so on.
(Conclusion)From what has been discussed, we may draw the conclusion that, although cell phone is plagued by this or that disadvantages, its advantages still outweigh its disadvantages and it will still play essential roles in modern society. therefore, proper measures must be taken to control the abuse and overuse of mobile phone and great efforts should be made to lead mobile phone develop and improve on a healthy and sustainable way.

Also some people play sports because they need to lose extra weight.
Another reason why people need to play sports might be that a lot of people nowadays find themselves under a lot of pressure. Doing sports can help them to relax.
When I play football with others I can make friends with those who come from different departments.
Meanwhile I can learn how to forgive others’ mistakes during the match, which will help me to become more endurable in the daily life.
Besides, I can practice my ability to work efficiently with my fellows, because it seems that we can win the game only if we can work together in a powerful team.
Doing sports can enhance our physical (mental) development. It can keep fit and make us staying in health.
I’ll learn some self-defense skills from it.
By doing sports, I also learn how to communicate and interact with others.
Sports can also bring us a lot of trouble. This is especially true when we cannot plan our activities properly. Too much exercise may make us exhausted. Too hard training may hurt us or even make us sick.

智能手机的优缺点
现在智能手机很普遍，那么我们就说一下智能手机的优缺点。 先说一下智能手机的优点或者说是智能手机对人类的好处。1、具备普通手机的全部功能，能够进行正常的通话，发短信等手机应用。
2、具备无线接入互联网的能力，即需要支持GSM网络下的GPRS或者CDMA网络下的CDMA 1X或者3G网络。3、具备PDA的功能，包括PIM（个人信息管理），日程记事，任务安排，多媒体应用，浏览网页。
4、具备一个具有开放性的操作系统，在这个操作系统平台上，可以安装更多的应用程序，从而使智能手机的功能可以得到无限的扩充。所以智能手机无论在生活上还是在工作娱乐上都提供更多的便利。
现在说一下智能手机的缺点或不足。1) 智能手机为实现各种功能，自然就需要比较强大而且齐全的硬件配置，所以智能手机的体积相比普通手机还不能得到根本上的突破，便携性方面要差於普通手机。2) 智能手机采用了高级的系统，就像电脑上的 Windows O/S一样，出错的频率也要高於一般普通手机，故在 Smart Phone 身上发生 Hang 机只不过是一件正常的事，需要 Re-start 手机等问题发生在智能手机上并不奇怪 ! 3) 另外由於手机采用了开放式的操作系统，智能手机难免会遭到非法程序的影响，例如最近的出现的多个智能手机病毒问题，这些都会影响到智能手机的正常使用。4) Smart Phone 的耗电量，多少是会较一般普通手机为多，但不算是严重，以功能和性能来对比仍算是合理的。还有价格普遍较高，易用性较差，新手需要慢慢适应。 笔者还算是一个对电脑方面比较懂的人，刚拿
到智能手机时都相当茫然，研究了半天才能逐一掌握如何安装那些令人眼馋的应用程序。可想而之，那些对电脑以及手机不是很熟悉的朋友来说，如果你想玩转一个智能手机，不花点时间好好钻研钻研是不行的，毕竟如今的智能手机就好比是一台缩小版的PC。
其实智能手机易用性较差主要还是在手机界面上。一般普通手机多以人性化非常到位的9宫格和12宫格界面，让用户轻松上手。而智能手机就差在这里。不过如今诺基亚手机的S60界面已经相当人性化，就连不易上手的Windows Mobile界面也在逐渐改善中。而真正制约用户消费的还是在于价格，一般都要高出非智能手机一大截。 我认为造成这些缺点的最主要的原因是科学技术的不够完善。
那如何改善？首先应该加快这方面的科学技术的的发展，使其加快更新。然后注重其性能的改善。提高手机的防毒能力，开发杀毒软件。

为什么中国学生雅思口语成绩全球倒数第一
据统计，2006年雅思考试全球考生平均分6.06分，而中国考生平均分仅为5.53分，排全球倒数第二。其中听说读写的单项平均分分别为5.47、5.39、5.80、5.23，说和写的均分可谓全球倒数第一。而2007年，中国考生雅思口语的均分更是降低到5.36，蝉联全球倒数第一。2008年和2009年，中国考生的排名依然没有进步。
中国考生，到底出了什么问题？
笔者根据过去五年的雅思口语教学经验，总结出8个扣分因素，与各位考生分享。希望以绵薄之力，帮助你在雅思备考路上，走得更快一点、更好一点。
1、60%的考生，因“表情”被扣分(备注：本文所列百分比和其它评分数据，仅代表个人经验，并非官方统计数据) 在雅思口语评分标准的“发音”评分项中，有这样一个界定：“能够使用表情、肢体语言帮助自己被理解。”根据这个标准，如果你有下列问题，你会被扣分：
(1)几乎不看考官，可能被扣高达0.2分。
(2)虽然看着考官，但是表情和口语答案并不配套。比如，当你在说”Ilikeanimals,especiallydogs。”的时候，你的脸上，并没有露出灿烂的“爱狗”表情，或者至少是一丝温馨的“狗狗挺可爱”的表情，你可能被扣0.1分。
(3)因为考官面无表情，你原先勉强保持的微笑逐渐僵硬，直至像考官一样面无表情，这样，你可能被扣0.05分。 为了不被扣分，笔者建议各位考生这样做：
(1)在备考阶段，一定要注意“表情和语言配套”！
(2)在实际考试的时候，无论你紧张与否，无论考官是否面无表情，请你脸上保持微笑，哪怕很生硬。(除非你说到自己IreallyhateXXX!)
2、70%的考生，因“舌头”被扣分
如果你在this,that,think,thank的发音中，不伸舌头，你肯定会被扣分，甚至扣分高达0.5！比如说，你不停地说IsinkXXX.IsinkXXX.而你本来想说的是
IthinkXXX.IthinkXXX。
笔者本人最为纳闷的是：众多中国考生，明明知道“不伸舌头”会被扣分，为什么坚持“不伸舌头”？！
如果你找借口说：“我习惯不伸舌头啦”，那我们只能说：“向至少0.2分说再见吧！”
在讲到“舌头”问题的时候，总会有同学联想到其它发音问题：“是英音得分高，还是美音得分高？”事实上，无论是英音、美音，甚至中式发音，考官都一视同仁，因为雅思考试对发音的界定是：“能够发出让人理解的声音的能力”！正因这个界定，大量中国学生由于IsinkXXX而被扣分！
3、90%的考生，因“单字不重音”被扣分
下面这些句子中的部分单词是大写的，你知道为什么吗？
(1)MynameisYANGCUIXIAN。
(2)I’mfromJILIN,acitylocatedinthemiddleoftheNORTHEASTofChina。
(3)BASKETBALLismyfavoritesport.I’vebeenplayingitREGULARLYforaboutTHREEYEARS。
如果你不明白为什么，可能你在雅思口语考试当中会被扣至少0.2分。
上面那些大写单词，标志着“单字重音”，也就是，你必须把那些单词放慢、加重，原因很简单，在整个句子当中，只有这些单词，才是最重要的，其它单词，都要轻读。 在雅思的“发音”评分标准中，有这样一个界定：“考生会使用重读、弱读，使自己更容易被理解。”而我们多数中国考生，仅仅把重读理解为一个单词里的重音音节，而不能把重音理解为“一个句子中的重音单词”，所以自然要被扣分了。
“单字重音”是最容易让你出成绩的，练习好了，可能在两三周之内让你提高0.5分，所以，笔者强烈建议大家，立刻开始操练“单字重音”！从现在开始，这样讲英语吧：
